Terry Hobbes is parent of three Shoreham-Wading River students (Sara, Jillian, and 
Ryan), as well as a fellow NYSUT member (he’s an English teacher in Commack).
On August 18th, Terry suffered a blood clot in his brain. After two rounds of surgery he is showing small signs of recovery (eyes opened, some toe and arm movement and signs of responding to verbal communication), but he and his family have a very long and difficult road ahead and are in need of support.

In addition, SWR athletes and coaches are selling t-shirts to help raise money for the family. T-Shirts are $15 each, and all proceeds go directly to the family (the supplier is providing them at cost).
